Nature-inspired designs comprising green gardens and captivating creatures are at the heart of luxury jewelry collections by some of the world’s most revered jewellers.

Fascination for such motifs remains strong among an eclectic range of consumers and international brands and designers are recognising this trend.
Perennial favourites such as flowers, trees and other treasures from nature dominate recent high jewelry offerings, including Dior's Les Jardins de la Couture.

For this collection, Dior Creative Director Victoire de Castellane melded two design aesthetics that Christian Dior is known for: Couture and Gardens. Carefully curated coloured gems are arranged one by one to achieve a balanced and refined result, which gives the jewelry pieces a more vivid, natural look, according to Dior.

Meanwhile, award-winning Taiwanese designer Cindy Chao unveiled the 2023 Black Label Masterpiece | Amour Butterfly brooch late last year – the latest addition to her Annual Butterfly series.

“Each year since 2008, one of nature’s most ravishingly beautiful and fragile creatures flutters into Cindy Chao’s collection,” Cindy Chao The Art Jewel said. “Whimsically colourful, so light and graceful on the wing, the butterfly inspires some of her most magical jewels.”
Rubies, sapphires, diamonds, tsavorites and conch pearls figure prominently in Chao’s Annual Butterfly creations.
