Below is what you as a visitor can do to help us run our event responsibily and inspire others through innovation and sustainability at IJS Istanbul Jewelry Show.
- Only take the give-aways or brochures you need and will use, consider if there are digital alternatives
- Ask exhibiting companies about the sustainability credentials of their business and products
- Be aware of what type of waste you dispose of while at the show and recycle your waste appropriately in the recycling bins provided
Throw your badge into badge recycling collection box that is located at the exit, upon your departure from the fair |
- Reduce your environmental impact by eating one plant-based meal a day
- As a visitor, your biggest environmental impact is from travelling to and from the event. When possible, choose public transport, direct flights and trains over planes and taxis
You can use shuttle services that we provide for you free of charge from the main point of Istanbul |
- When booking accommodation, consider a hotel with eco-certifications and close to the venue to lower your carbon footprint, and be sure to ask about any specific programs your hotel may have when you check in
